Travel Grants

Biotrans’03 offers travel grants that should help to cover conference fee, travel costs and accommodation. Lump sum of EUR 500 will be awarded to successful applicants at the conference registration office during the first two days of the conference (not later!).
No pre-payments will be available.
Grantees are responsible for their registering to the conference and arranging and pre-payment of their accommodation as all other participants. Conference fee will be deducted from the travel grant upon its payment, if not paid in advance.
Main target groups for the travel grants are young scientists, scientists from emerging economies, minorities; nevertheless, all those with limited resources are encouraged to apply. Decisive parameter is, however, quality of science.

How to apply:
Curriculum vitae, list of publications, abstract of the proposed contribution and a letter of support from the supervisor must accompany short application letter in English. For applicants with Ph.D. recommendation from head of department is required. Application must be sent by mail with original signatures to the congress secretariat (E-mails or faxed applications will not be accepted).
